I feel swimming is a necessity in everybody’s life and I have extended my teaching into achieving a degree in Primary education to help me to understand all concepts of learning which allows me to adapt to all learning needs and learning styles in my teaching to get the best out of each person that comes into the water.

Hi, I’m Sammy!
I’m a Level 2 qualified swimming teacher and also hold my NRASTC qualification. Alongside my swimming background, I’m trained in hairdressing and have experience working closely with children, including children with SEN, supporting their behaviour and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and happy in their environment.
I believe everyone should enjoy and love being in the water.
Growing up, I completed swimming up to Stage 10, and swimming club was always my favourite activity. It gave me so much confidence, enjoyment, and unforgettable experiences, and I would love to pass that same passion and love for swimming onto every learner I teach.
A little bit about me:
Fun fact – I can swim underwater for 50m . That’s something I never would have discovered if I hadn’t learned to swim!
Favourite stroke – Front Crawl
Favourite food – Sushi
